Meet the Chef

At Label’s Catering, every menu starts with one question: what do you want your food to feel like? Whether you want an elegant plated dinner, a rustic family-style meal, or a casual football Sunday with subs and dips, we can make it happen. Every event is different, and that’s exactly how it should be.

Executive Chef and Owner Evan Engelstein was born in Florida, raised in Massachusetts, and trained in Raleigh. After earning his Culinary Arts degree from Wake Technical Community College, he worked with some of Raleigh’s best chefs before creating Label’s Catering. The goal was simple: to cook freely, stay creative, and build something meaningful.

For Evan, food is about balance, flavor, and joy. Every dish is a thoughtful expression of what he believes makes food truly delicious. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a client enjoy a dish he has worked hard to perfect.

At Label’s Catering, no two menus are ever the same. Every event is designed around your vision and your taste. Our goal is to deliver food that looks beautiful, tastes incredible, and gives your guests an experience they will remember.

Based in Raleigh, North Carolina, Label’s Catering provides custom catering for private dinners, weddings, and events throughout the Triangle.
